Get Shaking with Bong Plugs!
These silicone rubber Bong Plugs are great to use when cleaning your water pieces and bongs, they fit all sorts of sizes and shapes. If you aren't happy plugging the joint with the plug the normal way you can flip it around and press it onto most joints on your bong and you will have a nice firm seal. Some thought has gone into making these plugs, the reverse side has different sized openings that create a very good seal. Flipped around on the Haze DUO is perfect, you can see in the images that the plugs can fit either way. Both methods provide a decent seal and the plugs stay on the bong while you shake it.
We found the best way to clean the Haze DUO Bong is to use just a squirt of Randy's Black Label Bong Cleaner, hot water to half way up the bowl and 1 minute of constant shaking using the Bong Plugs to block both of the 14mm joints. The 10mm joint doesn't need blocking as it doesn't leak much from this outlet. See the quick video in the gallery, if you do as suggested you can make your bong look like a brand new one in a few minutes. The Bong Plugs are certainly a great help. They work best flipped over with the pointy part out! As we say, some thought went into making these, we were surprised to see they fit even better flipped around and are less likely to come off if you get out of control singing "Shake It Up" by The Cars.
A Tight Seal.
Pipe Plugs are made from either black or green silicone and are designed to seal the joints on your water piece to facilitate a more thoroughly sealed ISO Alcohol shake up. Without plugs you can make quite a mess! You really need to use them to appreciate how handy they are.
Easy to Use and Multi-Sized.
Super simple to use, just screw the plugs into your intake joint or mouthpiece and that’s it. We recommend giving it a less vigorous shake to start, just to make sure the Plug is in nice and tight. If you’re using a 14mm joint (Haze DUO has 2), make sure the pointy end of the Pipe Plug is pointing out (as in images), and the result will be a super tight seal. If you have a 10mm or 18mm joint, place the plugs pointy end inward and then screw it in place, tightly, until you have a proper seal.
When shaking liquid in any water piece, we recommend doing it over a sink and again, testing the seal before you get vigorous, just to be on the safe side. When you have the proper seal, you’ll be able to give it a good, proper shake, needling less ISO than you’re used to using. If using Randy's Black Label Bong Cleaner remember to shake the bottle and without pause, squirt one shot of Randy's into the mouthpiece/whip 14mm joint, you don't need to use much, your bottle of Randy's should last for many cleaning sessions. You need to shake the bottle up to get the abrasive substance that looks like sand to be in the shot you squirt in. The sand like substance is what removes the resin build up around the waterline inside the bowl. It works very well and the ISO in the solution finishes it off by clearing it of any resin. The hot water also helps loosen everything up. After a minute of shaking be sure to thoroughly rinse your bong and half fill it with fresh cool water. Remember to at least replace the water daily if you use it often. Old water is not healthy.

The Pipe Plugs are not recommended to be used with male joints, but with females, they are the best way to plug the openings on your water piece. This is a much easier and more thorough way to clean your favorite water pipe.
