This cap is the one cap to cover them all. It's up to you if you want to run with the regular DynaVap Caps or the Low Temp version. There are advantages to both.
By clicking earlier in the heating cycle, DynaVap’s Low Temp Captive Cap helps you be more consistent with your torching times, enabling you to vape your flower with less risk of combustion and enjoy a more complex flavor profile. It's routine is more predictable and enjoyable for many, and it is much more efficient with your herb. The Low Temp Cap has a different Logo.
What is the point of the DynaVap Low Temp Captive Cap?
Do you often find yourself heating the tip of your Dynavap cap, looking for that low-temperature bliss? Then this cap is for you! The Low Temperature Captive Cap works with all Dynavap vaporizers, and has a distinctive logo on the back so you can tell it from your regular caps. Heat this cap like you normally would, and your average temperature will be 15° F - 20° F lower than you’d get with the original DynaVap cap. Savor those flavors!
The Low Temp Cap by DynaVap has been designed to produce a lower temperature at the click when compared to the original cap. In saying that you can still get very similar experiences from both with the right technique.
The low temp cap is made out of medical grade stainless steel and is engineered to click 1-2 times once it reaches the correct temperature. Works very well with our Induction Heaters.
The cap is also designed to be a very handy tool. With its main job being scooping out spent herb. But is also handy for other tasks as well. Pretty sure McGuyver played a part in the design of this handy little cap.

Please Note: If you discover you having Combustion issues or the opposite, little vapor, you likely have a damaged Cap, all it takes is a small dent in the end of the Cap to mess up the calibration so it will often click at the wrong time. Your Cap must be in mint condition to work correctly. Unfortunately the Cap wears the brunt when your pen is dropped on hard ground and lands on the cap end. If you change to a new cap you will find the calibration is back to normal in most cases.
Dynavaps signature cap is designed to “click” once it is heated to the right temperature. It also has the tab on it which is handy for clearing out your oven. If you notice the cap clicking twice, don’t worry that’s normal. If you find that your new cap is loose, simply squeeze it a little to adjust the fit.
