The Perforated Cap has many minute holes laser etched into it to form exciting abstract patterns. This cap, which is Captive, has different heating characteristics, performance, and flavor profiles, while creating increased airflow and extended sessions.
DynaVap’s signature Cap is engineered to “click” when heated to the correct and optimal vaping temperature. The invention that started it all, The Cap is made of medical grade stainless steel and makes all DynaVap dry herb vaporizers work. The Cap also features a multitasking digger-outer tool to easily remove herb from your tip when thermal extraction of your herb is completed.
The Perforated Captive Cap will fit with any DynaVap Tip.

Tips.
Please Note: Sometimes the Cap will click twice. This is completely normal.
If your new cap is loose, give it a gentle squeeze to adjust the fit.
This cap is one of the more interesting designs, slightly radical, makes good sense, great for anyone who finds DynaVap Pens lack airflow! Increased airflow can mean increased vapor. Take your time with this perforated cap and try different methods of heating with your torch lighter or induction heater. You will find a method that works best for you. We have never had any negative feedback from our customers buying this cap, everyone seems to really like it. We have tested them ourselves and found them to be really good to use especially if you are loading sticky herb and even chunky herb that hasn't been ground into a fine grind. We have found that most of the Medical Cannabis is chunky and sticky so for best results we highly recommend you grind your herb with a 2 piece grinder. You will find you can stab your pen into a stash tin when the grind is fine and your oven will be instantly filled and ready to vape. This will help create more vapor, better airflow and much easier loading.
The trick is in the grinder type!
Cap not working as expected?
If you discover you are having Combustion issues or the opposite, little vapor, you have likely damaged your Cap, all it takes is a small dent in the end of the Cap to mess up the calibration so it will often click at the wrong time. Your Cap must be in mint condition to work correctly. Unfortunately the Cap wears the brunt when your pen is dropped on hard ground and lands on the cap end. If you change to a new cap you will find the calibration is back to normal in most cases.
